A. If the Guest cancels any booking for accommodation made outside of the Christmas - New Year Period at least thirty (30) days prior to expected arrival at the relevant accommodation, Beach Vybz will refund the deposits and Booking Fees (if any) to the guests less a processing fee of 10% of the Deposit Paid.
B. If the Guest cancels any booking for accommodation within twenty nine (29) days prior to the expected arrival at the relevant accommodation in the case of bookings outside of the Christmas - New Year Period, Beach Vybz agrees to extend credit for the full value of the booking to the same Guest in the same accommodation for a period of 12 months.
C. In the case of bookings for accommodation within the Christmas-New Year Period (together, the “ Non-Refundable Period”). Beach Vybz shall be entitled to seize or forfeit the deposits as well as any additional Booking fees paid if the Guests’ cancels any booking for accommodation within sixty (60) days prior to the Guests’ expected arrival unless cancellation is due to a qualifying reason related to COVID-19.
Bookings for accommodation within the Christmas-New Year Period will be eligible for relaxed cancellation terms if cancellation is due to one of the below listed circumstances related to COVID-19. In such qualifying circumstances, Beach Vybz agrees to grant full credit towards a future stay in the same accommodation or Guests may opt for a refund less a 2.5% processing fee. Provided however, that such cancellation is only applicable if invoked no more than 30 days prior to arrival since circumstances are changing rapidly.
Exceptions are made:
A. Where Barbados imposes mandatory quarantine on the Guests whether by country of original travel history or otherwise, on arrival in Barbados that was not in place at the time of booking.
B. Where Barbados refuses entry of the Guests due to country of origin, residence, or recent travel to a particular destination for reasons related to COVID-19.
C. A foreign government issues a specific travel ban to or from Barbados related to COVID19 that substantially restricts a client from being able to use the villa in accordance with the original terms of the Agreement (whether resulting in flight cancellation or other such restrictions on travel).
In all cases Beach Vybz retains the right to give fourteen (14) days (the “ Notification Period”) notice in writing of any change to cancellation and refund terms at which time the Guest(s) may exercise their right to cancel under the original booking terms. Failure to notify Beach Vybz in writing of a decision to cancel within the Notification Period, shall be deemed acceptance of the new terms.
In the case where the Guest or anyone booked to stay in the accommodation contracts COVID-19 up to and including the day of arrival, Beach Vybz will refund the deposits and Booking Fees less a processing fee of 10% of the Deposit Paid on presentation of a Medical Certificate confirming diagnosis.
If a Guest wishes to cancel reserved holiday accommodation within the Non-Refundable Period or during the time booked for the Services for any reason:
A. There shall be no compensation or refund of the deposits and/or any Booking Fees paid.
B. Any bank charges or currency exchange fluctuations incurred shall not be refunded.
C. Any attendant cost or incidental expenses incurred by the Guest in seeking to travel to the Island shall not be refunded or enjoy the Services shall not be refunded.
